My artist friend Marci and I showed our artwork on the outdoor Deck of the PUB Restaurant on Indian Rocks Beach last Friday. It's on the intracoastal side and has docks so you can come by boat or car. Our hosts Steve and Nancy made us feel welcome as did all the staff. We met a lot of diners, had some great conversations, made some new friends, and, all in all, had a great response!
Marci is a terrific artist. She works in oils and acrylics and can paint anything from the tiniest canvas to large murals. Her imagination is mind-blowing! I love to watch her "live paint "at these showings.
Our significant others joined us for drinks and dinner........ which was very tasty (both the drinks and the dinner)! I've eaten at the Pub for years and always enjoyed it.......... BUT, they have a fabulous new chef from the Conch Republic and he's cooking up some wonderful new dishes in their kitchen! You might want to stop by and try it yourself!
We won't be there this coming Friday due to our schedules, but you will see us there again real soon. Stop by and say "hello"!
